Madison Media Sri Lanka is a Joint venture between India’s largest independent media buying arm and Media Factory. Madison India has one of the best knowledge centers in India for operating in such a complex market as India and in particular for expansion into rural marketing. The decision to formulate a separate buying arm was in pre-empting the direction of future AOR business and formulation of mega buying cartels on the one hand and the valuable expertise and cross learning that could be transferred to local clients via Madison India on the other. Today Madison Media boast a host of custom built tools that are built for this region and that is an edge over global agencies whose tools cannot be facilitated due to research availability. The Madison team works very closely and are trained by Madison India so that the same rigor for analysis and skills set as their Indian counterparts is maintained in Sri Lanka. In April 2021the company underwent a name change to Midas Media, as Madison moved out of the Sri Lankan market, and today operates as 100% locally owned company under Media Factory Group.
