රොබ් ජැනොෆ් කියන්නෙ ඇමරිකානු Logo සහ Identity නිර්මාණය, Print Advertising සහ TV commercials නිර්මාණය සම්බන්ධව සිටි දක්ෂ ඇමරිකානු Graphic Designer කෙනෙක්. ඔහුව අපි හොදින්ම දන්නේ Apple Logo එක නිර්මාණය කිරීම නිසා.

1977 දී රොබ් කලා අධ්‍යක්ෂවරයකු විදිහට Regis McKenna කියන company එකේ වැඩ කරද්දී ස්ටිව් ජොබ්ස්ගේ Apple පරිගණක වෙනුවෙන් Logo එක නිර්මාණය කිරීමට ඔහුට අවස්ථාවක් ලැබුණා. එහිදී එයාට මුහුණදෙන්න වෙන ලොකුම අභියෝගය තමයි Logo එකෙන් චෙරි ගෙඩියක්වත් වෙන පලතුරක්වත් නෙවෙයි ඇපල් ගෙඩියක් පේන විදිහට හදන එක. මොකද ඇපල් ගෙඩියේ හැඩයට සමාන තවත් පලතුරු තිබුන නිසා. ඉතින් රොබ්ට කටු සහිත ඇපල් ගෙඩියක් නිර්මාණය කරන්න තමයි මුලින් පැවරිලා තිබුණෙ.

Logo එකේ පාට ඉරි වලින් අදහස්වෙන්නේ ඇපල් යන්ත්‍ර වල වර්ණ තිර තියෙනවා කියන එක. හැම තීරුවක්ම එහිම මිශ්‍ර වර්ණයෙන් මුද්‍රණය කරලා තියෙන්නේ. සැලකිය යුතු අමතර මුදලකුත් රොබ් වෙත ලබාදෙමින් ස්ටීව් ජොබ්ස් ඒ logo එක Accept කරල තියෙනවා. මොකද ජෝබ්ස්ට හිතිලා තියෙනව ඒ logo එකෙන් මිනිස්සුන්ගේ Emotional Response එක වැඩිවෙයි කියල.

Apple සමාගම වෙනුවෙන් Advertisements නිර්මාණය සහ Print කිරීමත් කලේ රොබ් විසින්. රොබ්ගේ ඇපල් ලාංඡනයේ මූලික සැලසුම අද වන විටත් සමාගම විසින් කරනවා. නමුත් එහි ගොඩක් දේවල් වෙනස්වෙලා තියෙනවා. පසු කාලීනව රොබ් IBM සහ Intel යන දෙකෙහිම නිර්මාණ කටයුතු සිදුකරල තියෙනවා.

රොබ් ජැනොෆ්ගෙ මේ කතාවෙන් Designer කෙනෙක්ට පෙන්නල දෙන දේ මොකක්ද?😊

Designer කෙනෙක්ගෙ Job එක Client කියන දේ ඒ විදිහටම කරන එක නෙවෙයි. ඊටත් වඩා ලොකු වගකීමක් ඔයාට තියෙනව. මොනම විදිහකින් හරි ගැටළුවක් නිසා අනාගතයේදී
logo එක වෙනස් කරන්න සිදු නොවෙන විදිහට Brand Design එකක් කරද්දි අපි වැඩකරන්න ඕනි. ස්ටීව් ජොබ්ස් එදා වගකීම් සහගත Designer කෙනෙක්ව Hire කරපු නිසා එදා රොබ් නිර්මාණය කරපු Apple Logo ආකෘතිය අදත් ඒ විදිහටම අපිට බලාගන්න පුළුවන්.
