Liberia Football-preneur and grassroots football development strategist Alvin Kpalay Clarke has been certified as Intermediary.
The Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Football Club is credited for unearthing and developing notable Liberian talents, including 11 years old Eric Godpower Marshall who has become the youngest professional footballer in history, and Jegbay Morris Konneh, formerly of LPRC Oilers.
“Done and dusted,” the newest FIFA Intermediary began. “Fact is there were many and renowned Intermediaries before me and there shall be countless after me. I wish that is humbly settled. However, by the grace of God, I bring so much value to the sector. I bring innovation and charisma and an unearthly level of passion and determination to reinstate the prestige of Liberian football amongst the comity of footballing nations.
“By the utmost grace of God, I have established consultative and collaborative relations with influential agents and scouts across Europe who can place our lads back in the top five leagues in the world. At the moment, we are not short on the needed contacts to place players. The challenge is developing our youthful talents into top quality players who can compete at the highest level like the Ghanaians, Nigerians, Senegalese and Guineans.
“God willing, in the next two to five years, we should be able to see Liberians in the English Premier League, French League One, Italian Serie A, etc.
“I have already identified some top talents from other clubs. Players who sign with me will be put into a special development regimen according to the guidelines given by my partners. This way, we just don’t send products on the market for the sake of it, but those that the market craves,” Alvin ended by saying.
