Rainbow Global, a Christian organization dedicated to guiding young people in discovering and fulfilling their purpose, hosted a one day spiritual revival, styled โAll Universities Campus Fire,โ on Capitol Hill in Monrovia.
Held on the Campus of the University of Liberia on Friday under the theme: โThe Healing Light of God,โ the event brought together students from all universities across Liberia, including the University of Liberia, Stella Maris Polytechnic University, and African Methodist Episcopal University, among others..
The event featured prominent preachers and gospel ministers such as Apostle Dr. Simeon Dunbar, Pastor Israel Zayzay and Minister Jesse Pratt, culminating into what organizers consider as a day of spiritual impartation and transformation.
In his powerful message, Apostle Dunbar, Senior Pastor of Liberty Church, spoke on the theme: โThe God Factor in All of Our Preparation,โ drawing his text from 2Chronicles 27:6. Addressing a predominantly youthful audience, he emphasized the importance of early life preparation, especially with God being at the center. Addditionally, he urged young people to make the most of their first 25 years, describing them as foundational for future success.
โThe first twenty-five years of your life are years of preparation,โ he said. โIn all your preparation, you need to get God on your side.โ
Attendees shared diverse experiences from the event. Blessing Myers, a student of the University of Liberia, described the program as impactful, particularly highlighting the sermon.
โThe program was wonderful,โ she said. โWhat really awakened my spirit was the message. It was a call for young people to serve God, not based on prophecy, but a personal decision to return to Jesus. It reminded us that your walk with God starts with you, regardless of your background.โ
Another participant, Nicodemus Trueh, stressed the spiritual atmosphere of the gathering.
โGod moved mightily,โ he said. โLives were restored, and our eyes were opened to worship God as young people, no matter our mistakes.โ
The even concluded with an altar-call and anointing session, consecrating souls unto God.
Brother Promise Fernandez, founder of Rainbow Global and host of the โAll Universities Campus Fire,โ described the gathering as a unique and divinely inspired moment.
โWeโve held campus fire programs on various university campuses, but this is the first all-universities campus fire instructed by God,โ he said. โThe moment I arrived and saw the turnout, I said, โTo God be the glory.โ Itโs amazing to see students from different universities gathered together to call on the name of the Lord.โ
