RAL Leadership-Elect Appoints Magdalene Saah to Head Six-Member Inaugural Committee, Names Dorcas Boe as Advisor
MONROVIA, Liberia – The Leadership-Elect of the Reporters Association of Liberia (RAL), headed by President-Elect J. H. Webster Clayeh, has officially constituted and appointed a six-member Inaugural Committee to coordinate and oversee activities leading to the formal induction of the newly electe
d leadership of the association.
The committee brings together experienced media practitioners and committed members of the association who are expected to provide strategic planning, coordination, and administrative support for a successful inauguration process.
Those appointed include:
• Magdalene Saah — Chairperson
• Joshua Freeman — Co-Chairperson
• Desmond Wion — Secretary
• Stephanie Duncan — Member
• Obediah B. Johnson — Member
• Dorcas Boe — Advisor
According to the Leadership-Elect, the committee has been tasked with planning and coordinating all activities and processes related to the upcoming inauguration in close consultation with the elected leadership of the association, while all elected officials will serve as ex-officio members of the committee.
The committee’s responsibilities include coordinating inaugural programs and logistics, mobilizing stakeholders and partners, preparing activity schedules and documentation, advising on strategic decisions, ensuring effective communication and collaboration, and supporting the smooth ex*****on of all events associated with the inauguration.
The Leadership-Elect believes the appointments reflect its commitment to inclusiveness, professionalism, coordination, and collective leadership as the association prepares for a new chapter.
