Yesterday, the NUL BComm Students Association had the privilege of visiting Hollard Insurance (LNIG Hollard) and Prime Accounting Consultancy as part of our mission to bridge the gap between what we learn in class and what happens in the real business world.

The experience had a truly positive impact on our members and was very eye-opening. We learned that studying BCom does not limit us to accounting careers only, but opens doors to opportunities in many other professions — especially when we enhance our knowledge through online short courses and continuous professional development.
During the visit, Prime Accounting Consultancy also shared valuable career advice with our students:
1️⃣ Start internships early
2️⃣ Build practical experience
3️⃣ Join professional bodies
4️⃣ Develop strong soft skills
5️⃣ Consider courses in asset management

We extend our sincere gratitude to both organizations for welcoming us and sharing their knowledge with our students. Experiences like these help prepare us to become competent, versatile, and industry-ready graduates.
