On March 17 Roman Sarkisov, CEO of Dev-Serv held a meeting with students as part of the VIP session of the MIPT Purple Conf festival. During the session, students presented their projects and asked Roman questions as an expert in launching digital products.

"What would you feel if a young girl joined you and detailed the structure of the future data center cluster, then asked how to better calculate fault tolerance and what level of TIER is optimal?" - Roman shared his impressions after the session.
The discussion took place without intermediaries, which contributed to lively dialogue and sometimes disputes, which is a way to understand each other. After the session, many students became interested in the possibility of consulting in the future. This suggests that the exchange of experience was beneficial for them.

Roman Sarkisov, the founder of Dev-Serv, spoke at ProIT Fest in St. Petersburg on February 10, where he shared his experience working with the B2B sector in the "Pain" section. During his presentation on "Pride and Prejudice or Owners' Failures," he analyzed why clients update business processes and infrastructure when it's already too late and the results it leads to.

Roman shared several key ideas:

- Ignoring updates to business processes means that employees will build everything themselves, but it won't be the same.
- For commercial clients, and especially government customers, a good technical task that allows you to start working immediately is more often exception than a rule.
- In the process of studying the customer's business processes, you can discover many new things for yourself 😏
