This week, I was invited to speak at 3 different events. African Luxembourg Community, eXp Luxembourg & Legends International Team.
And today… it’s my birthday. I couldn’t have asked for a more MEANINGFUL GIFT.
At , I felt something DEEP.It brought me back to my ROOTS…to who I AM and where I come from.
For the first time, I truly felt the BRIDGE between my LIFE in Europe and the DEPTH of my African IDENTITY.Like a TREE… grounded in its ROOTS, yet expanding through its BRANCHES. I felt DEEPLY GREATEFUL 🙏🏿✨️
At .luxembourg, standing on that stage… something ACTIVATED in me. I realized how much I LOVE SPEAKING.Not just talking, but FEELING people.Looking into someone’s EYES and seeing that something SHIFTED INSIDE them.
After my talk, one person came to me and said:“I feel like I just saw my FUTURE SELF.” That touched me deeply because when I was speaking, my INTENTION was to speak to my YOUNGER SELF.
And in that moment, I realized something:
If I can touch ONE LIFE… even just one…I am already FULFILLING my PURPOSE.
Then came the third moment.With Legends International Team, I was asked:“What advice would you give?”
I said: WHAT IS YOUR WHY ? If your WHY doesn’t make you CRY,it’s not it. DIVE DEEPER. Your WHY is HIDDEN in your deepest PAIN.
For me, my WHY was BORN 32 years ago during the GENOCIDE in Rwanda. I SURVIVED with my MOTHER in a place where almost everyone else was KILLED.Later, I was SEPARATED from her and I didn’t know if she was alive. In that moment, I was ANGRY.Angry at GOD. Angry at LIFE!
So I made a deal with THE MOST HIGH: “If you let me SEE my MOTHER again, just one more time, I will FULFILL whatever MISSION you gave me by letting me LIVE.” A year later, she found me again. From that moment,I had no choice. I had to FULFILL MY PART.
My LIFE is not random. My SURVIVAL was not random. My WHY... is to turn PAIN into PURPOSE. To remind people that no matter what they’ve been THROUGH, they can RISE. That they are not BROKEN. That they can BLOOM. But only, if they are in the right ENVIRONMENT. We are all like FLOWERS. Put a flower in the wrong environment, it DIES.Put it in the right one, it BLOSSOMS 🌸.
This week… I realized something. I AM in the right ENVIRONMENT. And I am finally allowing my WHY to be EXPRESSED … FULLY. Through my VOICE.Through my STORY.Through TRUTH.
And today, on my BEARTHDAY …this is the GREATEST gift I could received. CLARITY. ALIGNMENT. PURPOSE.
So I leave you with this: What is your WHY? If your WHY doesn’t make you CRY …Dive DEEPER. Because that’s where your TRUTH is. That’s where your POWER is. That’s where your LIFE BEGINS.
