Studio Polenta is a progressive design studio founded in the summer of 2013.

Visual identities, screen design and innovative print work are their trademarks for commercial, cultural and institutional projects. Studio Polenta was founded by Annick Kieffer and Rick Tonizzo. Since early 2020, Annick has been running Polenta with Art Director Sara Giubelli.

We are proud to share with you the identity design and scenography of the exhibition « Pierre Nimax sen. zwischen Tasten und Taktstock » at the Bibliothèque nationale du Luxembourg. Inspired by an old photograph of him, we played with the capital N to interact with the image. Discover and help protect Luxembourg’s Remarkable Trees!

As part the “Arbres remarquables” campaign, the and the are shining a light on the country’s most extraordinary trees. The campaign features a trilingual set of three posters — in Luxembourgish, French, and English — alongside a practical field guide. Anchored by a leaf motif and a nature-inspired colour palette, the visuals are designed to captivate, and to invite everyone to play a part in preserving these living landmarks.

The author Anna Valentiny’s first book, “Hortus Alienum: Scenographies of Nobody’s Voyage” is a narrative about the human condition.

The book comes in two print versions, to set an example for a new approach to addressing the imbalance that has arisen between production costs, funding, and readership.

Grand Duchy’s literary scene.
