Even though my marketing journey already started a long time ago — when I worked student jobs in sales or chose to study Business & Management at MCI — the real turning point was marked by UP STREAM SURFING. 🌊
What began as an internship became the path to what I now do with passion every single day.
I started with lots of theory from my studies — but had to learn everything from scratch in the real world. And I LOVED it. 🫶
Michael (on the left of the second picture) and Andi (not in the pics) gave me the freedom to explore, to experiment, to use marketing as my playground. To be creative, bold, a little crazy — and to just try.
They gave me the chance to join startup programs, absorb knowledge from brilliant experts, and grow — not only in my marketing skills, but also personally and on a human level.
But what made it all truly special were the people I had the chance to work with.
Together with the amazing team, we poured our energy, ideas, and passion into every little detail. Every event, every post, every project was a team effort — and none of it would’ve been the same without the people behind it.
And over the years, we created something truly special.
We gave people experiences. We made it possible for families, friend groups, companies, and students to share moments together — having fun riversurfing, chilling by the water, connecting in an atmosphere that felt free, playful, and alive. 🥹
We built a brand with meaning.
We created events, threw parties, collaborated with other brands. We learned, adjusted, tried again. We went viral (yes, more than once), got featured in newspapers, attracted TV teams, and worked with big influencers.
From an idea on paper to a living, breathing lifestyle — full of creativity, challenge, and a lot of laughter.
UP STREAM SURFING taught me how to be self-aware, how to be creative, how to enjoy life a little more, and how to let my craziness come out.
It shaped who I am today — and I honestly couldn’t be more thankful for this amazing opportunity. 💙💙💙It has been a very important chapter in my life — and probably one of the best
