We use AI daily at VEX to help with email marketing for ecom brands. Here are the 70% things it can pull off vs 30% it cannot:
If you give it proper inputs, it can generate…
- strategy outlines
- campaign ideas
- subject lines
- full email copy
- variations for A/B tests
- basic design direction/flow logic…
faster than any human manually going through dashboards.
This production part is the 70% where AI is extremely powerful.
But it’s not the shot caller. It does not wake up and decide that a client’s retention is slipping or rethink an offer because margins are shrinking. You still have to initiate everything.
Only then can you direct AI to execute.
That remaining 30% is judgment, prioritization, and proactive thinking.
This is why I view AI as a production engine that removes heavy lifting, but does not replace ownership of the outcome.
