Today, we welcomed Prime Minister Robert Abela and Deputy Prime Minister Ian Borg to our Gozo office. 🇲🇹

At Threls, we believe that staying connected to the people and places that shaped us is a fundamental part of who we are. We are deeply grateful that the Prime Minister took the time to spend over an hour with us, engaging in a genuinely honest and grounded conversation about the realities of our industry and the communities we serve.

Our discussion centered heavily on the impact of technology and AI on the modern workforce. We shared our core belief that technology must elevate people—not overwhelm them. As we navigate this new era, our focus remains on applying responsible technology. We advocated for using AI to enhance human capability, rather than replacing human thought or responsibility.

Deputy Prime Minister Ian Borg also joined the dialogue to discuss foreign affairs and our recent visit to Qatar. As we look toward the Middle East to sustainably diversify our business, he shared valuable insights into government initiatives designed to support purposeful international expansion.

We appreciate their time, their presence, and a conversation rooted in clarity and genuine human impact.

🌳 We recently partnered with Għawdix , a Gozitan NGO dedicated to amplifying the voices of the community through petitions, awareness campaigns, and civic engagement.

They came to us with a clear need: a better way to engage their supporters beyond social media, simplify membership sign-ups, and create a central space to manage donations, events, and content.

What started as a fragmented system of Google Forms and bank transfers is now a seamless digital platform complete with a secure Member Portal, online payments, and exclusive content access.

💚 This was a voluntary, values-led project for us - because we believe in using tech to create meaningful impact.

Another year, another React Conference. 😌

Last week our team headed to Wrocław, Poland for React Universe Conf 🇵🇱

The talks and workshops sparked plenty of ideas… from AI in React and cross-platform architecture to WebAssembly, React Native performance, and the future of front-end development. 💡

But the community? That was something else. 600+ people coming together, sharing knowledge, and celebrating 10 years of React Native. The energy, the connections, the conversations, reminded us why we love being part of this ecosystem. 🌍

(And in case you were wondering — no, they weren’t short on coffee 🫣)

Grateful to be back inspired, fuelled with fresh ideas, and ready to put them into practice. 🚀
