Ince is a leading, dynamic investor marketing agency and prominent player in the communication arena in Mauritius and South Africa. Ince assists companies with their regulatory disclosure requirements and communication objectives.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Development Consultant to join our team at our office in Mauritius.
Description:
The position involves responsibility for strategic sales and marketing initiatives, acquiring new clients as well as maintaining and building existing client relationships.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
β’ Generate and pursue sales leads, win new clients and generate upsales with existing clients.
β’ Meet or exceed planned sales targets.
β’ Identify and develop relationships with C-Suite executives and Senior Managers.
β’ Prepare marketing documentation, give sales presentations and product demonstrations.
β’ Help determine pricing, prepare quotes and negotiate contracts with clients and providers.
β’ Ensure client satisfaction and retention.
β’ Maintain client records and sales information by fully utilizing the CRM system.
β’ Prepare reports on sales performance, competition, market and product developments.
β’ Grow brand awareness and position Ince as a thought leader and influencer in the investor marketing space through marketing initiatives and management of social media.
Key Required Skills, Aptitude and Attitude:
β’ Results driven with a strong understanding of the sales process.
β’ Good understanding of branding and financial reporting.
β’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an outgoing personality.
β’ Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build strong relationships with both customers and suppliers.
β’ A business savvy team player and leader who is passionate and highly motivated.
β’ Must be flexible to work extended hours, as and when required.
Required Experience:
β’ Minimum 5 years experience in sales roles and environments is essential. Ideally, this will have been in an investor related environment.
β’ Strong client relationship management abilities and a proven track record in business development.
β’ Financial understanding relating to running a profitable business area and business reporting experience.
β’ Fully Computer Literate in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook).
