In 2026, some of the most compelling stays are defined by a simple, yet powerful combination: architecture and sustainability that are considered through the same design decisions, rather than treated as different concepts.

Across our portfolio, this is expressed in different ways, depending on place - from cliff-carved Cycladic settlements and vernacular island builds. What connects them is a design approach where material choices, spacial planning and environmental impact are resolved together from the outset.

She’s back 🌿

After Typhoon Kalmaegi forced a closure late last year, has officially reopened its doors as of today and we sent to document the journey back.
What unfolded over months of restoration was something quietly extraordinary. Up to 200 craftsmen and artisans working by hand. Every villa, every pathway, every detail returned to exactly as it was — because at Zannier, the soul of a place is non-negotiable.
And it wasn’t just the resort being rebuilt. The entire team was retained through the closure. 165 English language training sessions were delivered to staff. Local families were supported in the aftermath. The reef rehabilitation programme continues offshore. This place doesn’t just sit in its community — it moves with it.
Tucked between rolling hills, rice paddies and a protected stretch of Vietnamese coastline, Bãi San Hô is one of those rare properties that genuinely earns the word destination. Now, it’s ready for you again.

We’ve been reflecting on the clients we’re lucky to represent and the work they’re doing behind the scenes. From craggy coves in Greece to a rehabilitated archipelago in Cambodia, these brands aren’t just occupying some of the world’s most beautiful beaches, they actively protecting, restoring, and in some cases, rebuilding them.

Let’s explore shall we?

Wondering where to go amidst a volatile world?

It’s a question we’ve been sitting with - honestly, uncomfortably - before putting this together.

Because we know that for every person planning their next journey, someone else is being forced on one they didn’t choose. That tension doesn’t go away, and we’re not going to pretend it does.

What we can do is point toward the places doing travel differently. The properties in this carousel are part of the Slojourn Studio portfolio — resorts and retreats we represent because they’re rooted in intention, cultural respect, and genuine regenerative practice.

They’re not selling you escapism. They’re independently run and offer those with the privilege an opportunity to lean into something slower, quieter, and more considered.

Swipe through. Save it for when you’re ready to plan. And if something calls to you for your clients, our team has everything you need to put you in touch with the right booking avenue 🤍

This weekend, we want to pause and honour the incredible team at Zannier Bãi San Hô, Vietnam ❤️‍🩹. Since Typhoon Kalmaegi brought devastating floods to Central Vietnam, our colleagues have worked relentlessly to breathe new life into every corner of our Bay of Corals sanctuary. Their unwavering commitment is nothing short of inspiring.

To arrive at Zannier Bãi San Hô is to immediately fall under the influence of enchanted nature and unique traditions. Standing on a secluded peninsula of the Dak Lak province, sky and earth unite under sweeping Eden-like vistas and sunlight haloed by gold. This is where unique stories are hand woven. The palms - passionate and precise - craft every moment of an extraordinary guest experience. From local artisans preserving generations of skill to our dedicated team transforming hospitality, these hands don’t just work, they create a soulful essence.

Zannier Bãi San Hô, Vietnam, is set to reopen on 1 April 2026 and in the coming months we welcome ALL of your support in spreading the beauty and message of the Resort and its people far and wide. We’re looking forward to welcoming all of your guests this year, and seeing the property splashed across your social feeds.

Please get in touch with the Slojourn team for any stories, content or opportunities to discover Vietnam.
