Chitimatima's new song 'GALA' takes its name from a Chewa word for 'Graduation,' encouraging fellow students to maintain focus on their academic endeavors despite obstacles.

He counters the dismissive attitude toward education that some quarters hold, viewing a certificate, diploma, or degree as 'just a piece of paper.'

After all, he believes that education is a stepping stone to success, not a hurdle to jump over.

Alongside this powerful message, Chitimatima has infused the track with a local traditional (manganje) beat, making it appealing to a wide audience.

What sets him apart is his unique style, characterized by a flaw-like approach that emphasizes creativity.

As a result, he showcases his ability to switch between different genres, further engaging his fans and proving that he can adapt like a chameleon in a forest.
