When you visit people, no matter how close you are to them, be sensitive and don’t do any of these things:

–Don’t walk into their house with your shoe unless they asked you to do so. It’s always more respectful to remove your shoes at the doorstep especially if you didn’t come with a car(if you must enter with your shoe, make sure you use the doormat correctly)

–Don’t sit on the one-sitter sofa. In most houses, the one-sitter Sofa is usually the favorite of the owner of the house. Instead, sit on the 3 sitters' sofa. 3 sitters are for everyone.

–Mind your leg. It’s very annoying to march on the sits of your host. Some of you are used to carelessly putting your foot on whatever chair you are sitting on. This is the most important of them all. Keep your foot on the floor or top of your other leg. If you don’t comport yourself, don’t feel embarrassed if your host tells you to bring down your foot. If everyone marches on the chair that way, you would be the first to tell how dirty your host's sofas are.

–When they offer you bottled water, ask for a cup if you know that you won’t be able to finish the full bottle. If you drank directly from the bottle, ensure you leave with the remaining water. Don’t open, kiss, and leave the rest behind. No one would drink it and your host won’t be happy throwing it away. This one annoys me the most. I hate wasting water and food and it’s not about the money. Some people don’t have good water to drink or food to eat.

–If your host is a bachelor and you have access to his kitchen. Whatever you dirty in the kitchen, clean it up. Don’t mess up his kitchen and leave it behind like that. Who’s going to clean it?

–Whatever you touch, ensure you keep it the way it was. I don’t like my house being disorganized. Everything has its place. Don’t get over-familiar with your host and disrespect his or her house. Make your host want to have you around longer than wish you should leave immediately. This is one of the reasons why I leave alo

A MUST READ

Two soldiers were very friendly, great friends. One evening one soldier comes back to the trench but finds that his friend has not returned. Many people have been killed on the front. He becomes afraid — is his friend killed?

He enquires, and then somebody says, ‘We are not certain that he is killed, but he was so terribly wounded that it was impossible for him to come to the trench. By now he must be dead.’

It is getting dark now and the enemy is still firing madly but the soldier wants to go and search for his friend.

The officer says, ‘No, this is foolish’, but he doesn’t listen to the officer — he goes.

It is very difficult in the dark and there are thousands of corpses all around.

He looks and looks and in the middle of the night he returns — dragging his friend’s dead body on his back. He himself is now terribly wounded, mortally wounded… he cannot survive.

The moment he reaches the trench he falls on the floor with the body of his dead friend.

The officer comes and he says, ‘I told you not to be foolish! It was not worth it. Now you know what you have done to yourself. The friend is dead and you are dying!’

The dying man opened his eyes and he said, ‘But it was worth it — because when I went there, he looked at me and he said, “Jim, I knew you would come.”‘

For love, life can be sacrificed — it is worth it.

But we have been taught just the contrary: sacrifice everything just to be alive; just to survive, sacrifice everything.

Life is beautiful only when there is love. Love is a higher value than life… a greater value than life. Life can be sacrificed to love, but love cannot be sacrificed to life.

An alarm clock waked me up so that I get prepared for work ,it rang for about 15 minutes but I was still persistent and yet not ready to wake up from my death bed . Having thoughts in mind that today's is going to be a great day filled with blessings and joy I kept my head up knowing that it's a Monday morning .A day that looked so promising. Monday's are not that good even if you can ask a student today about Monday she will tell you how she hates Mondays but we just have to get back to work despite the calamities that are faced with Mondays and that comes along in the day ........

I kept on checking my time , not to arrive late at work , and it worked .A day that started with lots of work and unbeatable joy lead to an seemingly unexpected turn . When God blesess you do not try to look down on those who are behind , do not take advantage of them or mistreat them because today we are here , Tommorow we take the next turn . These were thoughts that kept going through in my mind ,Alot of times bosses seem to enjoy and feel better when their employees are suffering ,are not doing really well in life ......To be continued!!!

It's not the capital you lack, it's the creativity that you lack. Opportunities are everywhere. Dr Edward De Bono said that the reason that many opportunities pass us by is a perceptual one. We do not recognize an opportunity for what it is. An opportunity exists only when we see it. Everyone is surrounded by Opportunities. But they only exist once they have been since. And will only be seen if they are looked for.

Check around you, there are opportunities everywhere. All you need is to change your mind and learn to be positive. Your don't need a better phone or you don't need a better home to see Opportunities. You just need a positive mindset. Mindset if everything. It is the difference between an average life and a magic life. Many complain about the economy being bad hence not finding the opportunities. Robert Kiyosaki said "When times are bad is when the real entrepreneurs emerge. Entrepreneurs don't really care if the markets up and down. So when somebody says there's less opportunities now, it's because they are losers".

Change your thinking and you will change your life. When you change how you look at things, the things you look at change. A person who never changes his opinion never corrects his mistakes. Herbert Spencer said ' A living thing is distinguished from a dead thing by the multiplicity of the changes at any moment taking place in it". Remember you cannot become what you are destined to be by remaining what you are.

Its easier to land man on Mars than to change the education system (Elon Musk).

I remember walking into the university gates going to study a course I had no idea about. All I knew was that I needed to be in University, do better than my parents by getting a degree and eventually get a bigger job than them even if it meant studying what I didn't like or had no idea about. The education system made it even worse as it required me to memorize more rather than think. Watching other students perform far better than I was always made me ask myself if other people were more blessed than I was and if so why was that the case? I also wondered what criteria God used to bless the other students.

Today when I look back I realise I focused on things that I did not like rather than on things that I liked. We all have different abilities and our focus should be on our strengths. The education system should teach us how to think as opposed to teach us what to think. Elon Musk said "If you want to teach children how engines work, you wouldn't want to first teach them all about wrenches and all about screw drivers. You would show them the engine, then ask how they would take it apart."

I reiterate what Albert Einstein said "Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.” I managed to get my degree because I thought that was the only way I would make it in life but once I started reading about personal development and many more things not taught in school, I realized even without it, I will still make it.I found the hope I was looking for and I decided to pack my degree and started on focusing on what I really love and the journey is so fulfilling thus far.

It is time we realized that everyone is born unique and has something to bring to the world. Let us therefore confine the thinking of the young pupils and underestimate what they can bring fourth to the world.

1. An increase in income, either from your Salary or your business Sales doesn't mean that you should shift from a house rented at k1500 to one for k3000. Instead Save the increase and Start building your own house.

2. An increase in income, doesn't mean that you should Loose appetite for home cooked Meals and start eating from one restaurant to another. An increase means, keep Cooking from home, eat Soya pieces, then Save and invest the extra Cash.

3. An increase in income doesn't mean that you should also increase the number of Side Chicks. Some of you, your private parts have got more views than youtube videos.

Moral lesson.

When your income increases, don't be too quick to upgrade your lifestyle and increase your expenses. Most people who did this Slipped back into poverty, when the income was no more. Instead, Save the increment and use it as a stepping stone to building Wealth and gaining Financial freedom.

Building Wealth isn't about, how much money you earn, it's about what you do with the little money you earn.
