As we share a common goal of improving agricultural sector and increasing income among small scale women farmers in the country.

We are pleased to announce that Corporate Africa International Foundation has partnered with Platinum Finance Limited under the Women Economic Empowerment Programme. Under this partnership, Platinum Finance Limited shall provide loans to women groups in form of farm inputs to enable them boost their farming businesses and reduce vulnerability.

Corporate Africa International Foundation is implementing Women Economic Empowerment Programme. Under this project, Corporate Africa International Foundation mobilizes women groups of between the ages of 18 to 45, register them as associations and train them in financial literacy and business skills, and link them with Financial Institutions to enable them access money to start or boost up their businesses.

Lack of financial literacy, business skills and business linkages have the devastating potential to create a severe of economic impacts among women groups in Malawi. It is noticed that 90% of women participating in small scale businesses lack direction which has contributed greatly in affecting the development and economic out-put of their day-to-day lives. The situation has brought challenges among women, infringing their economic rights and are unable to obtain a successfully and desirable life.
