Today, we proudly appreciate Ishmael Bakali, a student from Stephano’s College, for his remarkable 8-month industrial attachment at HOPMAC Ltd.

Throughout his stay, Ishmael has demonstrated commitment, discipline, and outstanding technical competency, particularly in plant propagation. He has grown into one of our best propagators, mastering important skills in grafting and banana macro-propagation.

His willingness to learn, and ability to put knowledge into practice have been truly commendable. We are proud of the progress he has made and the contribution he has made to the HOPMAC family.

Proudly celebrates Steven Richard Mathunda, a student from Vocational Technical College under Teveta Malawi , who has successfully completed his eight-month industry attachment at HOPMAC from January to August 2026.

During his time with us, Steven demonstrated strong interest and practical skills in seed sowing for both vegetables and fruits, nursery management, and seedling production, contributing significantly to the production of quality seedlings at our farm. If you're to buy seedlings from our farm this season know that most seedlings passed through his artistic hands.

Beyond his technical contribution, Steven brought enthusiasm, teamwork and a positive spirit to the workplace. His commitment and willingness to learn made his time at HOPMAC meaningful and memorable.

We sincerely appreciate Steven for the knowledge he shared, the skills he developed, and the contribution he made to our nursery operations.

Celebrating Grady’s Journey

Today, we celebrate the incredible work and journey of Gradys Tembo, a student from Stephano’s College pursuing Edible Horticulture under Teveta Malawi .

Gradys has spent the past 8 months at Hopmac Ltd , gaining practical experience and developing valuable skills in horticultural production. She has shown exceptional passion, particularly in vegetable production and management.

During her internship, she has not only learned a lot from HOPMAC, but we have also learned a lot from her. Her dedication, passion, commitment and contribution have been truly remarkable and have left a lasting impression on the HOPMAC family.

We are proud to have been part of her learning journey and wish her continued success as she takes the next step in her horticulture career.
