Discover the inspiring story of Chifundo Tchackson, a 12-year-old student from Chobomodzi village in Lilongwe, who has overcome incredible challenges to excel in her studies. At Kapedzera Primary School, Chifundo faced numerous obstacles, from overcrowded classrooms to illness and food scarcity. Her journey from struggling to read and write in Standard 4 to securing the first position in her class is a testament to her resilience and the transformative power of education. This incredible turnaround was made possible through the "Catch up Clubs" (CuCs), an initiative by Save the Children that provides targeted support in literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional learning skills to vulnerable and marginalized learners.
