You know what’s crazy?

Research shows we’re often terrible at noticing gradual change in ourselves.

That’s why getting in shape can feel frustrating even when you’re objectively making progress.

Red meat got demonized while ultra-processed food took over the grocery store.

Steak, beef, lamb, real food packed with complete protein, iron, zinc, selenium, creatine, B vitamins (especially B12), and nutrients that support muscle, energy, hormones, and overall health.

No ingredient list. No fake “heart healthy” label. Just nutrient-dense food humans have eaten for generations.

Eat real food. Lift weights. Get sunlight. Sleep well. Your body usually responds pretty well to that.

Your daily walk doesn’t have to be just a walk. 👊

Find a park, stop for 10–20 minutes, and get some movement in.

You don’t need a gym. Most parks have enough to get a solid workout:

• Pull-ups / chin-ups
• Dips
• Push-ups (incline, decline, explosive)
• Hanging knee raises or leg raises
• Skin the cat (if your shoulders can handle it)
• Monkey bars for grip + mobility
• Bench step-ups
• Bulgarian split squats using a bench
• Walking lunges
• Sprints or hill sprints
• Bear crawls
• Dead hangs for shoulder health + grip

Little things like this add up over time. More movement, more strength, better mobility… without needing extra time in your day.

People are acting like the sun is the enemy.

Reality? Your body was designed to interact with sunlight.

Getting outside and getting sun exposure helps your body produce vitamin D, supports your circadian rhythm, and can play a role in energy, sleep, mood, and overall well-being.

Be smart about it. Build up your tolerance over time and don’t overdo it.

Get outside. Get some morning light when you can. Spend more time in nature.

Your body will thank you.

The goal isn’t just to “eat healthy.”

The real goal is getting to a point where eating junk doesn’t even feel rewarding anymore.

When processed food starts tasting worse, cravings calm down, and eating like crap makes you feel terrible after…

That’s when you know your standards changed. 👊
