Seventeen years is a stupid thing to mark. MexicoIndie started it, just some small project that got bigger before I had any clue what I was doing. Waldorf came later, when it was obvious this wasn’t fading out and the work kept pulling more weight.

Most of those years were the same loop. Long days, ideas blowing up halfway through, fixing garbage at hours nobody should be awake, and the simple reality that stopping never felt like an option. Whatever “style” people see came from repetition, not some grand plan.

Hitting year seventeen doesn't make me misty-eyed or whatever. It's more like kicking the tires on a be**er car and hearing it roar instead of sputter. Clients got sharper. The workload didn’t lighten. Nothing slid into cruise control. It’s still the same grind and it still hasn’t given a reason to stop.
