There’s quite a number of people here on the gram that encouraged me throughout the process, my heart is with every single one of you. I love you, and cannot thank you enough. No matter the hopelessness I experienced, the heartbroken despair I went through, you all made me feel like I was doing something meaningful.
This is my open letter about Szostak:
Szostak is the most challenging project I’ve ever worked on. And I’d be lying if I said I stopped coming up with new designs for it. There were so many things that I wanted to incorporate but I ran out of time.
The premise started as a Trilogy I wrote ten years ago about a politician developing a lethal virus to exterminate the human population so that only clones could roam the Earth. His name, Nikolaz Szostak.
Unfortunately, the Covid-19 pandemic had just begun, taking precious lives with it. I had to rewrite my story when the virus took one of my favourite humans from me. The topic itself was excrutiatingly hard, so the new plot told the story about war between humans and clones after realizing that the beloved politizan running for President had built his campaign for years by developing genetically engineered growth to feed the human species; with the intention to control the size of the rapidly growing population.
Baby James and I are proud to finally present this project to the gram! Enjoy!
PS: Yes, baby James attended my online classes. So he’s a designated Concept Artist too.
