On Thursday, I was interviewed on a podcast and asked a really important question as a 20+ year Marketer:

"How has marketing on Instagram changed between 2020 and 2026?”

What I shared there is what I’ll share with you here.

👉🏽Instagram is never going back to what it was.

That's because IG is no longer Social Media. It is Interest Media. People see content they're interested in, not necessarily who they follow.

If we don’t adapt, it will affect our ability to land clients from it. Period.

I don’t say that to scare you. I say it because we are in a new era now, whether we like it or not.

📈As someone who began as a professional marketer before social media existed, I’ve seen *many* waves of brands and companies refuse to change until it was obvious they had to.

It happened when Facebook & Vine came out.
It happened when the iPhone came out.
And it's happening again now with AI and algorithm shifts.

The ones who adapt first, learn first. And the shift is aaaall around you already if you look 👀

As business owners, we actually don’t have a choice. We will have to evolve how we market for as long as we are in business.

And it doesn't have to be a scary thing - in fact, what works now is the most fun I've had in the history of my business :)

In the free training this Monday March 16, I’ll walk through these shifts and show you how storyselling fits into all of it. You'll learn -

• Why selling in every post no longer works - and what actually sparks conversations with ideal clients

• The three roles content plays when it’s growing your audience, building trust, and creating demand for your work

• How attention becomes leads so your content leads to real inquiries and high-ticket clients

Comment or DM MAR16 to save your seat and I’ll send you the registration link. See you there! ❤️‍🔥📲

A lot of entrepreneurs were taught that every post should sell.

So every post ends with:"Book a call.""Join my program."
"Join the waitlist.""Work with me."

And for a while, that advice seemed to work - although I personally stayed booked out for years without ever saying “book a call”.

The difference is, a few years ago your followers actually saw most of your posts.

Today?

Your audience is scattered across hundreds of accounts, and the algorithm decides what shows up in their feed based on what people interact with, not just who they follow.

Which means your content has to do more than sell.

Some posts bring new people in.
Some build trust.
Some create the moment where someone raises their hand and says, “tell me more.”

And some guide people to your email list in a strategic way, where the conversation can actually continue.

When those pieces work together, your profile stops feeling like random posts and starts guiding the right people toward working with you, all the time.

That’s what I’m teaching inside a free live training on March 16.

👩🏻‍💻"Create Daily Conversations, Weekly Leads, and Monthly High-Ticket Sales Through Storyselling."

If you’ve been posting consistently but it still feels hit-or-miss when it comes to clients, this will show you what’s actually missing.

Comment or DM MAR16 and I’ll send you the registration link!
Or grab your seat through the link in my bio.

Doors to Category of One reopen after the training.
CO1 is a six-month program where your story, messaging, and content finally work together to grow your audience, generate leads, and land clients more consistently ❤️‍🔥

Today's performance felt like a form of resistance, rooted in joy.

On one of the most watched stages in America...

at a time when the Latino community is being openly dehumanized, villainized, and treated as disposable...

Seeing headline today's Superbowl Halftime (aka Benito Bowl) felt like a form of rebellion that said "We will not be silenced. We will not be erased."

I nearly lost it when he handed his Grammy to a child actor who resembled Liam Conejo Ramos and his dad 😭, who were recently detained by ICE in Texas and later released.

But it wasn't until he sang DmTF (Debi Tirar Mas Fotos) at the very end that I broke down and my daughter came to hug me (unbeknownst as to why I was crying)...
..as he called out all the Latin American countries, holding up their flags.

It was a way of saying "This is for all of you. You're all here with me." 🇵🇷🇲🇽🇳🇮🇩🇴🇸🇻🇨🇺

This is what representation feels like when it goes beyond cute cultural buzzwords, and speaks DEEPLY to the experience of your people, during a time when they are hurting and you want to remind them not to lose hope.

This is it looks like to use your platform for advocacy and direct callouts of colonization, oppression, yet somehow make it coexist alongside Latino Joy.

Let me know in the comments what you felt watching today's performance.

And if you just found me, follow .Delamora for more on cycle breaking and entrepreneurship as First Gen.

The moment that made so many of us cry.

A moment of recognition, of validation and even - rebellion - against the idea that Latinos are "others" when we're all part of the Americas.

In fact - Latinos' ancestry has been rooted in the Americas far longer than those of European descent who colonized the land the Superbowl was played on 👀

All to a billboard backdrop of "The Only Thing More Powerful than Hate is Love" ❤️ - a powerful line from his Grammy acceptance speech last Sunday.

That's why seeing Benito name every country in the Americas in ORDER from South to North America (did you notice?), while all our flags flew behind him, was moving in ways that brought us to tears 😭

They said "You belong here. This is your home too."

Poetry, advocacy, resistance and a geography lesson were never delivered with so much "poder."

"Seguimos aquí." ✊🏽

It’s not just about seeing yourself represented.
We’ve had Latino artists headline the halftime show before.

But never an artist who never had to switch his language, sanitize his voice, or be less political to cross over into the world market.

If anything, he did the OPPOSITE.

Songs like El Apagón and DTMF aren’t subtle.
They call out gentrification, displacement, and the ongoing colonization of Puerto Rico.

And a week ago, DTMF became the first all-Spanish-language album to win AOTY at the Grammys.

His music isn’t just entertainment.
It’s advocacy.

And THAT'S what hits different ❤️‍🔥

👉🏽Because what’s the point of representation if the person representing your culture isn’t willing to use the microphone — and the platform — to stand for it?

That’s why Latinos all over the world are beaming today.

It’s a reminder that values, culture, and advocacy are scalable — without being watered down.

I can’t explain what it feels like to be Latina today.
But I can show you. 🇵🇷✨

The pendulum is swinging ⬇️

I started my business six years ago.

💰Back then, high-vibe "laptop lifestyle" was the trend.
👠Then it took a HARD turn to content that looked like a fashion photoshoot.
👩🏻‍🏫 Then came self-pedestaling "here's why you haven't made 7 figures yet" content.

And now that more copy sounds like untrained ChatGPT and AI tools like Nana Banana are making it harder to discern AI from reality...
..our brain’s filter for attention is shifting. It's called the habituation theory.

🔮 My prediction is already happening = In 2026, the storytelling brands will blow up.

STORYTELLING is what stops the scroll and allows you to take center stage as if no one else exists.

It’s what makes people FEEL things.

Without emotion, people who logically see a reason to hire you will not move.

And it’s in those moments that your future clients quietly decide they are 1000% going to work with you.

That’s why I created an entire story selling SYSTEM — to help you turn what you’ve lived, learned, and seen into content that actually connects and converts.

💬 Comment STORYSELL for my Six Figure Storyselling bundle with 60 days of storyselling hooks to grow, connect, and convert through story-led content.

🤖 PLUS, in email #3, you’ll receive the Sellable Stories Coach custom GPT to help you position your offer through and extract your top three sellable brand stories.

📲 And you want to do this together, DM me 90MIN to book a Sellable Stories intensive with me ❤️‍🔥

Listen ✋🏽 It’s so easy to get caught up in all the ways you wanted to be further along at this point in the year - especially if you’re a business owner, coach, consultant or content creator, because we dream so goddamn big.

BUT do NOT forget how hard you worked to become the miracle that you are.

Just think about all the things you can DO and SAY and BE that your mother couldn’t. That your grandmother couldn’t.

When I think about the fact that I’m a single parent running a 7 figure business built from my personal brand, living in a condo in the San Francisco hills
and don’t need to report to a boss or a man...

And I can say whatever the f*ck I want on the internet
and clients hire me because of my content, my story, and my point of view...

That is power.

That is why I built my business around helping women build 6+ figure businesses and beyond from their content and personal brand.

Because when you get paid for being who you are -
through your voice, your story, and your brand -
no one can take that away from you.

Follow .delamora for more on building a 6+ figure personal brand on social media that turns content into clients through storytelling.

If only 12% of women-owned businesses (and 8% of Latina-owned) make 100k or more a year -
THIS is how you’re going to be the exception ⏬

I’ll make sure of it: This is how I sold out my $6K coaching offer from Day 1 and made 100k my first year.

And it’s how my clients have:
💸 Quit six-figure jobs
📈 Hit six-figure years (even as parents)
💰Doubled their prices while booking out their premium offers

Here’s how I would help you make 6 figures next year:

1. Find the most high-value problem you can solve.

Sell the $60 steak, not the $6 chicken nuggets 👀

2. Speak to people who are ready to solve their problems—not the ones you have to "rescue" and convince to take action.

3. Network and collaborate with people + brands that overlap with yours.

This is the fastest way to grow your audience and get in front of dream leads.

4. Clarify your Sellable Stories.

These are the stories that connect who you are to what you sell and how you deliver it differently. Then, tell those stories on repeat.

5. Pair ManyChat with one simple lead magnet.

With fewer people seeing your posts, use IG to grow your leads and drive them to your email list—where they’ll actually see everything you share and you can keep building the relationship.

6. Change your circle. You’ll only go as far as they do.

And don’t take business advice from people who haven’t done what you want to do.

📩 DM me to chat about private coaching—
where we’ll build your premium offer, double your rates, and hit six figures faster...
..with content that actually sounds like you.

📲 Or comment “ERA”
and I’ll send you a training on EXACTLY what I was thinking, believing, and doing to go from zero to $50K months.

25/11/2025

Your 30s are when you start asking different questions:

Which part of me is really ME vs what I was taught to believe?

Do I still want this?

If I were to die tomorrow, what would I regret not doing? (dark, but it brings out the truth)

Next time you think it's too late...

👉🏽 I got divorced at 31 from my high school sweetheart of 13 years after years of being cheated on.
👉🏽 Began dating for the first time at 31.
👉🏽 Quit my job to travel Europe solo at 32.
👉🏽 Cofounded a tech startup - a dating app - at age 33
👉🏽 Married again and moved to London at 34.
👉🏽 At age 35, my ex husband left and I found out I was pregnant two weeks later.
👉🏽 A few months later, moved back in with my parents in CA, a broke single mom on food stamps
👉🏽 Started my coaching business at 38.
👉🏽 Quit my 16-year marketing career at 39.
👉🏽 Made my first 500k in business at 41.
👉🏽 Crossed 7-figures and hosted my first international retreat at 43.
👉🏽 Had three 6-figure launches by 44.
👉🏽 And at 44, I was featured in Forbes—a dream I held for YEARS.

You still have so much time.

Anything can happen.

You just have to be more committed to the life you want to create than the life you’ve been identified with for so long.

If you’re new here, I’m glad you found me.

25/11/2025

After working with hundreds of WOC entrepreneurs since 2020, there are many things I’d do all over again…

…but a lot I would do differently too 👀

👉🏽 Because we’re no longer in a pandemic
👉🏽 Because I made a lot of expensive mistakes
👉🏽 Because Instagram has changed
👉🏽 Because I came out of 18 months of burnout and saw my sustainability gaps
👉🏽 Because I’ve now been in YEARS of therapy, somatic and life coaching to heal the parts of me that made some of those old decisions

If I had to start booking high-ticket clients all over again, here’s what I would NOT do again:

1️⃣ Hire mentors solely based on how much money they made.

I’ve invested over $100K in coaching and it changed my life. BUT someone's selling skills and coaching skills are not the same.

And when you’ve experienced gaslighting, emotionally immature parents, or narcissism, it’s easy to confuse criticism and control with guidance.

2️⃣ Delay growing my email list.

Most people avoid this until the algorithm shifts or burnout hits. That’s when you wish you had a list that matched your IG audience. That’s why all my clients build theirs now—even if they’re still getting leads through content.

3️⃣ Follow a bunch of other people in your industry on social media.

I made the most money when I wasn’t watching what others were doing. There’s a fine line between inspiration and comparison, and too much input can kill your momentum. Tunnel vision protects it.

4️⃣ Put so much pressure on every post to be profound.

I used to flex that I only posted 4–5 times a month and still made multiple six figures. But that just made me overthink everything.

Now more than ever, you need to be willing to put out “bad” content to gather data. That’s hard to do when you're trying to make every post a whole dissertation.

👉🏽 99% of demand problems would be solved if you just experimented more and evaluated the results.

Moral of the story?

Doing things differently doesn’t mean you did it wrong before. It means you’ve grown.

If you feel like something is off with the way you're selling now, send me a DM and I'll let you know what I see and how I can help :)

23/11/2025

Every person I've shared #1 with has thanked me. And #7 is one you won't expect...

1️⃣ If you feel like you're going through your Existential Crisis Era right now (or did recently), you're actually doing it RIGHT.

Every successful person I know had part of their life unravel in their late 20s/30. It means you're awake and designing your life on purpose.❤️‍🔥

2️⃣ Think beyond your job in terms of making money. You'll be laid off many times even when you're the star employee. Start building your personal brand online now.

3️⃣ This is when you're supposed to take risks, not play it safe. Contrary to what you were taught, you're not supposed to have it figured out. In 10 years you'll realize this is when your life began.

4️⃣ Sometimes painful endings are just protection from you ignoring your intuition. You'll see it when you look back one day.

5️⃣ Love isn't supposed to hurt. You only accept it because control feel familiar.

6️⃣ Put your savings in the S&P 500. You don't need a financial advisor. You'll only delay getting started. Your 11k will be 50k by the time you're 40 even if you don't save another dime.

Investing only appears complicated to keep POC from building wealth.

And...

👉🏽 this one will feel oddly specific, but I've seen it happen ALOT to women age 30-35:

7️⃣ If you want kids, DON'T stay with the wrong person just because you're scared you won't find the right partner before your "fertility window closes." 👶🏻

More women are getting pregnant well into their late 30s.

(I had my daughter just before I turned 36).

And take it from someone who went through a divorce while pregnant - having a child with someone is more of a lifelong bond than marriage is 👀

I'm a testament that your life, business and bank account can be unrecognizable to where you are now.

If I could go from 2 masters degrees to single mom on food stamps to million dollar business, you can too.

That's what I help my clients do now - turn their stories into high ticket brands that change their entire legacy.
