Brief: Long and short
Distance is the amount of space between two people or things. It is a numerical description of how far apart objects are. Can we go beyond these distances? What is the distance to our era? How can we represent it, exaggerate it, decrease it at a time when the digital surpasses the gaps?
Create around this idea a picture, poster, edition, typography, video... involving an international cooperation and the topic above.
Artwork Concept: Love
One of the first ideas that came up to us was "love". Love is one of the phenomenas that surpasses distance and time between people.
For example, when some beloved person pass away you still love this person, or even if you are far away from home and your family you keep loving them as much as you were close to them.
Based on this idea I designed a poster that represented this feeling in a very simplified way. I divided the artwork into three elements: life, love and death. Then I layered them in order. First there is life, then love, then death and finally love again after death.
This way love is represented below, above and between life and death, as the most perdurable and infinite feeling we would ever feel.
