In this edition, Aimee invites us to reflect on Wes Anderson’s meticulous care for detail.

Every object, every font, every costume, every architectural choice serves a purpose. Art direction is the orchestration of a project’s entire visual language. In Anderson’s case, every frame is treated like a stage: composed, intentional, and emotionally precise.

In an era where visual culture is often reduced to trends and shared aesthetics, Anderson’s work inspires us to create with intention, and to care for every detail, especially the ones no one consciously notices.

Thoughtful art direction gives your work coherence and emotional depth. Because in the end, what people feel isn’t accidental. It’s designed.

So, which details are shaping your work?

Versatility isn't dilution. It's survival.

Most designers obsess over perfecting their craft. Fewer think about whether they can hold their own in a boardroom, speak the language of revenue, or navigate conflicting stakeholder demands without falling apart.

The gap between good designers and irreplaceable ones isn't usually technical skill. It's everything else.

What's the one thing you've been avoiding that would change everything?

Your competition might not be who you think it is.

The most dangerous threats don't come from companies doing what you do slightly better. They come from adjacent industries solving the same customer problems in completely different ways.

Adjacent threats start small, targeting overlooked segments with different economics. They look inferior by your standards, until suddenly they don't. And by then, your entire category is at risk.

The pattern is always the same: someone outside your industry notices your customers' underlying needs. They build a solution unconstrained by your industry's assumptions. Then they expand into your territory with momentum you can't match.

Traditional competitive analysis tracks obvious rivals. But the future of your market is being built at its edges, by companies you're probably ignoring right now.

Swipe through to understand how adjacent threats work, and how to spot them before they spot you.

Here's the test: Does your marketing feel like understanding, or does it feel like targeting?

Ever heard of “Innovation Theater”?

You've seen it. The labs, hackathons, walls covered in post-its. Stanford's Steve Blank calls this "innovation theater”, work that looks exciting but rarely moves the needle. Customers never feel the difference.

Theater feels safer. It gives leaders something visible to show while reassuring boards that progress is happening, even when nothing changes for customers.

Harvard's Clayton Christensen argued that real breakthroughs come from new business models serving unmet needs. That's harder than tweaking the old system, but it's what actually works.

Here's the simple test: Can customers tell you've been innovating? If they can't, you've been putting on a show.

In this edition of Insights By, Ricardo explores what Childish Gambino (aka Donald Glover) can teach us about creative identity.

Childish Gambino proves you don't have to pick one version of yourself. He’s an actor, musician, writer, director, comedian… and more. He's all of it, constantly evolving.

The real limitation isn't talent, it's fear. Fear of being misunderstood, of stepping outside what's expected.

What if creativity isn't something you do, but something you -are-?

Consistency doesn't mean staying in one lane, it means staying true to yourself across many.

Stop editing the parts that don't fit, learn the craft, then break the rules. Let curiosity lead! Keep creating! Not for perfection or relevance, but because what's inside you deserves to exist.

Your most powerful creation? Yourself.
So, what's your inner Gambino?

Why your best work might happen off the clock:
Your professional skills are already strong. Now imagine what happens when you apply them to something you're genuinely excited about, without deadlines or client approvals.

When the pressure's off, your brain unlocks. No deadlines, no client feedback, just pure creative flow.Skills cross-pollinate in unexpected ways. That motion graphics tutorial becomes next month's client solution.

Personal projects reveal something special about you. They show your personality, curiosity, and actual taste. That's what makes people want to work with you.

The only question is: what are you building after hours?

Explore Linde's Showroom, a digital experience of virtual stands.

For Linde, we built a modular grid system where each brand and commercial partner maintains its own identity while fitting into a unified presentation.

The system uses 12 frames that function individually but also form a complete layout. Photography, solid shapes, text alignment, and color harmony create rhythm and continuity across the grid.

These virtual stands showcase Linde’s main brands and commercial partners.
Visitors can navigate each one to explore their gas portfolio, diverse applications, and the range of innovative industrial products and services.

The design was created to make Linde’s products and solutions more attractive and meaningful, helping viewers connect what they see with what they read.

Are you familiar with the Irrationality Advantage?

Most purchase decisions happen subconsciously. While you spend months perfecting strategy, customers decide in seconds based on intuition, not logic.

Nobel Prize winner Richard Thaler proved that rational customers are a myth:
People are predictably irrational, driven by limited rationality, fairness perceptions, and lack of self-control.

The brands that win design for how people actually think, not how we wish they did.
This isn't manipulation, it's alignment with human psychology.
