Last Saturday, TASH Studio officially began its โmoving inโ journey and let me tell you, it was not the smooth Pinterest-worthy scene I had in mind.
My husband, Pak Cik Hadi, my cousins, my brother and his wife all came together to help. It felt so precious to build this dream side by side with my family. But of course, whatโs a business journey without a little chaos?
First plot twist: we discovered the fuse from our electric meter had been stolen. Yes, stolen. For a moment I thought, maybe the universe is telling me to give up already. Luckily, TNB came to the rescue within 45 minutes (shoutout to their efficiency!); otherwise this post wouldโve been titled โHow My Business Died Before It Even Started.โ
Second plot twist: my brand-new mirror came out of the box already shattered. Naturally, I panicked. My husband, on the other hand, calmly reminded me that Shopee has a refund button (bless him). Refund approved, crisis averted. Moral of the story? Sometimes whatโs broken can be replacedโฆ just not your sanity.
What I learned from this day:
๐งกA strong support system makes the chaos survivable.
๐งกChallenges will always show up, sometimes as stolen fuses, sometimes as broken mirrors.
๐งกLaughter (and refunds) really do help.
This moving-in process wasnโt perfect, but it was real. And maybe thatโs exactly how building a business is supposed to feel; messy, unpredictable, but worth every second.
