KOTA KINABALU: Lembaga Pembangunan Perumahan dan Bandar (LPPB) berjaya membina sebanyak 29,443 unit Perumahan Awam Kos Rendah (PAKR) di seluruh Sabah sepanjang hampir enam dekad penubuhannya, sekali gus membuktikan peranan strategik agensi itu dalam merealisasikan agenda perumahan rakyat negeri ini.

Ketua Menteri, Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Haji Noor berkata, selain pembinaan perumahan awam kos rendah, LPPB turut memainkan peranan penting dalam pembangunan Rumah Mampu Milik (RMM) serta projek-projek komersial yang membantu kerajaan negeri merapatkan jurang sosio-ekonomi antara penduduk bandar dan luar bandar secara lebih tersusun dan menyeluruh.

KOTA KINABALU: A project is considered abandoned if construction work has stopped for more than six months without any valid reason; the developer is wound up or declared bankrupt; and when the Ministry of Local Government and Housing officially declares the project abandoned.

Such projects often leave buyers with unpaid loans, no homes, and few updates β€” a legal and financial disaster, said Sr. Liaw Lam Thye, a qualified principal property manager at Taylor Hobbs with extensive experience managing numerous properties.
