36Five X was pleased to welcome Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau to EduCity Sports Complex, Iskandar Puteri.

The visit provided an opportunity for us to share the role we are building for ESC as a regional venue platform — not only for sports, but also for conferences, exhibitions, festivals, community activations and international-scale events.

As the management and operating company of ESC, our focus is to continue positioning the venue as a preferred destination in the region for event organisers, brands, agencies and communities looking to activate in Johor.

The discussion also covered potential areas where MyCEB’s support may help strengthen events hosted at ESC, particularly events with strong tourism, economic, destination and community value.

For 36Five X, this aligns closely with our mission of creating meaningful experiences through strategic venue management, event development, brand activation and community engagement.

We believe ESC has the infrastructure, location and potential to become a strong event destination for both international events and locally grown event IPs.

36Five X was honoured to welcome the President of the Malaysia Athletics Federation, Datuk Karim Ibrahim, to EduCity Sports Complex (ESC)

This meaningful visit featured insightful discussions on the future of athletics development, alongside a comprehensive tour of our facilities.

It was a valuable opportunity to showcase what ESC has to offer and to explore potential programmes and collaborations that can further elevate the sporting ecosystem.

We look forward to strengthening this relationship and working together in advancing athletics for the community.

A small but meaningful milestone for us today.

We’ve officially received the newly refurbished running track at ESC — and it’s now ready for the public.

Before anything official, we opened it up through our NLKO session as a soft launch — letting the community experience it first, and giving us real feedback on the ground. That’s always how we believe things should start.

Thank you to IIB for their continued commitment in making this refurbishment possible.

Special thanks to Ir. Kunasegeran, Director of Asset Management & Operations, Iskandar Investment Berhad, for his support towards this commercialization initiative.

From our end, this is just the beginning.
At 36Five X, we take this responsibility seriously — not just to maintain the facility, but to activate it.

We’re already working on consistent running programs, community sessions, and initiatives that will make this track more than just a space — but a place people come back to, again and again.

Alhamdulillah, pada Sabtu, 11 April 2026, SMK Medini dan 36Five X (syarikat pengurusan Kompleks Sukan EduCity) telah memeterai persefahaman untuk bekerjasama menghidupkan semula penggunaan Padang Ragbi SMK Medini — bukan sekadar untuk sekolah, tetapi untuk lebih banyak aktiviti komuniti di sekitar EduCity. 🏉

Untuk konteks, padang ini sebelum ini agak kurang digunakan kerana SMK Medini sudah mempunyai satu lagi padang, dan kos penyelenggaraan dua padang memang besar untuk ditanggung pihak sekolah.

Jadi, kerjasama dengan 36Five X yang juga mengurus fasiliti sukan berjiran di ESC adalah langkah yang praktikal dan sangat masuk akal — demi manfaat sekolah dan komuniti EduCity.

Melalui kerjasama ini:
• 36Five X akan membantu memastikan padang serta fasiliti sekeliling berada dalam keadaan baik dan terjaga, termasuk aspek pengurusan dan penyelenggaraan.
• SMK Medini p**a akan menggalakkan penggunaan padang ini oleh komuniti setempat agar lebih aktif dan dimanfaatkan sepenuhnya.

Yang paling kami teruja — kerjasama ini juga memberi fokus kepada pembangunan pasukan ragbi SMK Medini.

36Five X akan menyokong dari sudut program pembangunan/perancangan, serta membuka ruang kolaborasi dan jaringan dengan ekosistem ragbi yang lebih luas supaya pasukan sekolah boleh berkembang dengan lebih tersusun dan berdaya saing.

InsyaAllah, ini bukan sekadar “guna padang”, tapi bina budaya sukan dan laluan perkembangan untuk bakat muda.

SMK Medini juga merupakan Sekolah Amanah di bawah Yayasan AMIR, yang menekankan kerjasama awam-swasta untuk meningkatkan kemenjadian murid — dan inilah semangat yang kami cuba bawa bersama.

Sekalung penghargaan buat Pengetua SMK Medini, YBrs. Tuan Mohd Radzif bin Yusof, YDP PIBG YBrs. Tuan Md Najib bin Jabar, serta barisan pentadbir dan guru-guru yang menjayakan usaha ini.
