Some people join the team for a season, but the memories they leave behind stay much longer. 🤍

Last March ago, Ahnaf joined us at 36Five X, managing EduCity Sports Complex , as our Event Intern.

What started with learning the ropes slowly turned into busy event days, last-minute preparations, long hours, unexpected challenges, plenty of behind-the-scenes moments, and memories shared with the team along the way.

Through every event, every task, and every hectic day, Ahnaf became part of the rhythm here at ESC.

And now, just like that, six months have passed.

And now, we’re saying goodbye to Ahnaf as he closes this chapter with us and moves on to the next one.

Thank you for the effort, the energy, and the moments you’ve shared with the team. We hope your time here gave you experiences worth carrying forward.

All the best for your next adventure, Ahnaf. You’ll always have a place to come back to at ESC. 🫶

Every meeting eventually comes with a goodbye — but some goodbyes are simply the start of a new chapter.

Some collaborations begin with a simple conversation.

Last week, 36Five X welcomed JBS JOHOR to EduCity Sports Complex for a discussion on potential collaborations, shared ideas and opportunities to create more meaningful programmes together.

From understanding each other’s goals to exploring how our spaces, expertise and networks can come together, the session opened up conversations on what could be possible moving forward.

Because every meaningful collaboration starts somewhere — and sometimes, it starts around the same table.

We look forward to turning these conversations into something impactful.

3 days. 12 sports. 5 venues. 600+ participants.

Throwback to IJM Games 2026. 🏆

The games were only one part of it — behind the scenes, every venue had its own operations to keep things moving.

For this one, we’re taking you behind the scenes at EduCity Sports Complex .

From preparing and transforming the venues for different sports and programmes, coordinating games and managing scores, to catering, participant needs and on-ground logistics, the 36Five X team worked across every part of the event operation.

As the programme moved from one activity to another, the team was on the ground managing setups and coordinating with different parties — all important parts of ensuring every detail came together and the event kept running smoothly throughout the three days.

Ready to plan your next event? Let 36Five X take care of the details.

More than just a sporting event — it’s an experience for everyone. 🍊✨

Beyond the competitions, 36Five X enhanced the IJM Games 2026 experience by creating spaces at EduCity Sports Complex for participants and visitors to enjoy local flavours throughout the event.

From local fruit stations featuring durian, coconut, duku, rambutan, pulasan, and manggis, to food vendors serving favourites like cendol, laksa Penang, and otak-otak — every offering added a taste of Malaysian hospitality.

Through these collaborations, we also created opportunities for local vendors to showcase their offerings and connect with the IJM Games community.

More than an event, it was an experience that connected people, flavours, and communities.

Beyond the games, every experience matters. 🍽️

As part of IJM Games 2026, 36Five X carefully prepared the dining and catering setup to ensure participants were well taken care of throughout the event.

From arranging the dining space to coordinating catering requirements, every detail was thoughtfully planned to create a comfortable and enjoyable experience beyond the competition.

Because a great event is not only about what happens on the field — it’s about the moments in between.

Counting the days to IJM Games 2026.

A year of planning, coordination and preparation is now coming to fruition.

As the appointed Event Organiser for IJM Games 2026, 36Five X has officially begun the venue setup journey as we prepare EduCity Sports Complex (ESC) and surrounding facilities for the upcoming games from 24–26 July 2026.

With 12 sports disciplines involved, every space plays an important role in bringing this sporting event to life.

From venue arrangements to operational planning, our team is working closely with the client and partners to ensure every detail is ready for athletes, officials and supporters.

Because great events are built before the first whistle.

Behind every competition are months of planning, teamwork and countless details coming together to create a memorable experience.

Today marks the first day of setup — where a year of preparation starts to take shape.

36Five X will bring the experience together. ESC will be the stage where athletes, teams and supporters come together to compete, connect and celebrate the spirit of sport.

Welcome IJM Corporation Berhad to EduCity Sports Complex.

Connecting Experiences, always.
