Without proper branding, you’re pretty much wasting your money.
You’ll make terrible marketing decisions that don’t really help to grow your brand.

Yet, many businesses don’t even know what their “brand” means to them.

They simply think: As long as I’m investing more in marketing, I’m surely getting more sales. This is how I survive.

That’s a NO NO.
More marketing doesn’t guarantee more sales.
Branding holds a lot of weight when it comes to consumer decision making process.

Branding vs. Marketing. What’s the difference? Why do I care?

🔹Branding is who you are and how your brand is perceived.
🔸Marketing is how you get your message out there to promote your product, service and brand.

🔹Branding focuses more on nurturing and building a long-term relationship (trust & loyalty) with the customers.
🔸Marketing focuses more on getting transactions (sales).

🔹Branding creates a customised experience that makes you unique.
🔸Marketing uses tactical strategies that can be replicated by others.

If you want to achieve sustained success, invest in your brand first. Then let the marketing do the job to promote your business consistently, effectively, and purposefully.

And a good marketer, cares your branding as much as your marketing.

Hey there business owners!
Do you feel like no one cares what you have to say on social media? 💔

Maybe you’re focusing too much on (hard) selling,
rather than connecting with the people to build a relationship.

And this, I mean hard selling, can be annoying to your audience and customers.

Selling doesn’t always have to be pushy.
Sometimes you need different tactics to get closer to them, to gain trust, to form an emotional connection, in order to better.

Show them you care, and they will grow your business. 🤝

Write like how you talk makes your message more relatable, so your audience would love to engage with your content! ❤️

Quick tips to stop sounding like a robot and more like yourself:

1️⃣ Use ‘You’, ‘I’, & ‘We’ To Personalise
2️⃣ Short Sentence, Short Paragraph
3️⃣ Ask Relevant Questions
4️⃣ Start (Some Of) Your Sentences With Conjunctions
5️⃣ Add Interjections To Make Them Feel
6️⃣ Use Slangs Appropriately

There’s one more trick I’ve been using all these times, I always read my writing aloud. By doing this, I know how my writing actually sounds, and to check if I’m expressing myself the same way I would verbally.

My ultimate goal is to create a conversation with you and spark a connection. You can also do the same with your audience!

Doing research is good for getting a deeper understanding of a topic to generate ideas, but sometimes too much makes you lose your originality.

You might depend so much on other people’s ideas (subconciously), and not spending enough time to develop your own ideas.

Maybe you do not know how to begin, or honestly, you are too afraid to begin, here is a simple tip:

Take a notepad and start scribbling!

Easy? Yes! When you start creating, your ideas will flow.

You do not need to be 100% prepared to get started. (of course you can’t be 100% prepared)

So spend less time researching, more time creating, that’s how you can come up with your own unique ideas and let it flow!
