Just sharing another case study of our SEO project,
Initially was hited by Google Core Update last year 2022, when all the crazy core updates like Spam link, E-E-A-T focused, product review update & etc.
Luckily they found us Nexis Novus Technology, within 6 months time our client have revived their organic traffic and higher than before this year!
Note: Aug core update 2023 (But yet to be finalized by Google so expecting rough ride - so far the results are good for most of our clients!)
SEO Takeaway:
1. Diagnose the Impact: First we determine if the loss of traffic is due to an algorithm update or some other factor, in this case, our client website was hit by alot of bad oudated contents, & some keyword stuffing issue. So we did some optimization for on page issues while creating some new contents that are quality not quantity!
2. Check Google Search Console: In this case, there no any manual actions or notices - so pretty much skipped this while looking for those past month data of keywords & low hanging fruits to see what we can do to revive them!
3. Audit Your Content:
For core algorithm updates, content quality is often a focal point. On top of that we created legit Author profile for our client for their blog content - this seem to be a big fuss over the internet so we tried it.
4. Improve User Experience (UX):
Actually just mostly optimize the page speed for Googlebot to crawl and understand better - implemented proper internal linking together!
5. Assess and Improve Backlink Profile:
Honestly, lately Google being so smart that we didn't even need to remove or disavow toxic or spammy backlinks anymore. Just focus on building high-quality, relevant backlinks naturally over time - in our case, some new backlinks from other website organic link to us, no outreach or whatsoever.
6. Be Patient & Wait for Next Core Update:
It's important to note that even after making improvements, it might take time to see a recovery in rankings and traffic. Most of the time, if you do things right during the next core update you will be rewarded like in our case.
