RISO FANTASIA 2023 at Kaohsiung Taiwan!

Risograph printing has been gaining popularity in Southeast Asia, and many designers and artists are familiar with this technology. In addition, in July 2023, the first exclusive RISOGRAPH event in Asia, the RISO ART JAM, was held in Penang, Malaysia. It attracted designers from up to seven countries to set up booths, and the international exhibition featured as many as 100 artworks from around the world. What makes Risograph special is that it is a digital printing method that produces vibrant and retro-looking prints. It's also capable of small-scale production, which has endeared it to a community of designers.

This presents an opportunity for Taiwanese designers to see the printed materials from Southeast Asia, Europe, and the Americas. Additionally, they can learn from the experiences and case studies of RISOGRAPH studios in both Malaysia and Taiwan.

The National Premiere of Riso Art Jam is officially open! Riso Art Jam spotlights the vibrant Riso art scene in our community and brings together artists and art enthusiasts from around the world. The festival features three components, including an Art Exhibition from 15 - 30 July 2023, an Art Bazaar on 29 & 30 July 2023 and a series of forums with renowned artists on 29 & 30 July 2023.

Head over to The Whiteaways Arcade and have a party with ink and print!
