I kept thinking, why can’t I do this properly?

Turns out… I was forcing a version of life that never really fit.

Running a small studio doesn’t look like neat 9–5 blocks. Sometimes work happens at the dining table between meals, squeezing in admin tasks while waiting for a friend, or finding sudden inspiration right when you’re trying to wind down.

And oddly, it doesn’t feel chaotic anymore. It just feels like real life.

I’m still learning how to let work exist alongside everything else without feeling like I’m doing something wrong.

If you’re building something too…

do you try to separate everything, or let it blend?

I’m still learning how to sit with that responsibility.

If you’ve ever had similar thoughts about the role design plays, I’d love to hear them, feel free to share below or drop me a message.

And if you’re curious about the climate conversations happening in the creative industry, organisations like are doing meaningful work in that space.

I’ve always enjoyed exploring typography.

When I’m choosing a typeface for a branding project, it’s easy for me to spend longer than expected looking through different fonts, variations, and foundries.

It’s something I never really get tired of.

Typography has a quiet but powerful role in branding.

Many fonts may look similar at first glance, but the proportions, spacing, and small design details can completely change the mood they convey.

That’s why finding the right one always feels worth the time.

Sharing a few fonts here that carry a composed, classy feel.

Curious if you also have a favourite classy font? Share with me☺️

Save this🌼 if you’re choosing fonts right now.

After sharing the design thinking and decisions behind branding, I just want to say, I really had a lot of fun working on this project😍

It’s the kind of place I genuinely wish existed earlier, and something I’d happily invite my friends to stay at.

What stayed with me most was Jing Er’s WHY behind starting Sweet Spot.

You can really feel the heart and intention she put into it.

This wasn’t created just to look good or follow trends. It was built especially for women who are curious about golf, but feel like traditional golf spaces are too intimidating.

And honestly, that was exactly how I felt the first time I tried playing golf too.

So working on this brand felt personal in a way.

Grateful to be part of projects like this 🥹

If you’ve ever thought, “I know what I want to say, but I can’t visualise it yet” 👉this is normal.

Most branding work starts with conversations.
We talk about how the brand should feel, what it shouldn’t be,
and what kind of experience it’s meant to create.

From there, design becomes a series of intentional decisions, not guesses.

This reel is part of a new series I’m starting,
where I share the thinking behind the visuals. The questions, decisions and trade offs that shape a brand.

This one shows part of the process behind Sweet Spot,
from small logo details to the overall visual direction.

If you’re building a brand and looking for clarity before visuals,
I have a few branding slots opening up.
Feel free to reach out☺️

🌼This project shows how brand design starts with clarity and intention, before any visual identity decisions are made.

A small visual experiment.

I played around with an idea inspired by my mum’s garden, a little corner I always love to wander when I’m back at my childhood home.

No brief, no outcome in mind.
Just soaking it in, enjoying the fun, and letting the idea take shape🥹

At some point it felt a bit like flower arranging, playing with form, balance, and texture — just that this time, I used AI as a tool to explore the visual quickly and freely, a bit like how I sketch or test ideas during early thinking.

A small reminder that good ideas often come from paying attention, not pressure. Which feels quite fitting for this season.

Wishing you a gentle, meaningful Christmas
