My latest calendar design collaboration with - the paper sculpture artist

I design it to be few layers to enhance the pop up effect on the main character dragon. Because the quantity not many so is very costly if sent out for doing the finishing.

The base paper needs to be thick 300gsm special paper to support the calendar sheets. So no choice I have to hand cut it piece by piece and do up the 3D. Hand is pain and tired loh but the final outcome is satisfy.

Nice packaging design. Using special material with oriental design. It’s really one of the reason I bought this 🥰
一看到这月饼盒的设计效果- 特别的材质加上东方元素，忍不住就买了😊 (我想这大概是大多数设计师的弱点吧)
