We are seeking a motivated and creative WordPress & Shopify Design and Development Intern for a two-month internship. The ideal candidate should have experience in designing and developing websites on both WordPress and Shopify platforms, with a strong portfolio to showcase their work. You will work closely with our design and development teams to create user-friendly, responsive, and aesthetically pleasing websites for various clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the design and development teams to create and enhance WordPress and Shopify websites.
Customize themes and templates on WordPress and Shopify platforms.
Implement responsive designs and optimize websites for performance and SEO.
Manage content updates, plugin installations, and feature enhancements.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website functionality, plugins, or theme compatibility.
Conduct website testing and quality assurance to ensure smooth user experiences across devices.
Stay up-to-date with the latest web design and e-commerce trends and technologies.
Requirements:
Proven experience in WordPress and Shopify design and development.
Strong portfolio showcasing previous work in both platforms.
Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
Familiarity with theme customization, e-commerce best practices, and SEO optimization.
Understanding of website performance optimization techniques.
Strong attention to detail and creativity in problem-solving.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Bonus Skills:
Knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva).
Experience with WooCommerce and Shopify apps/integrations.
Basic knowledge of Git or version control systems.
