British Silver Trade Dollars were primarily produced to facilitate trade in Hong Kong and China. This 1908-B Great Britain Trade Dollar has been graded MS63 by NGC. The “B” mintmark found within the center prong of the trident on the obverse indicates this coin was minted in Bombay. The coin is bright white and has stunning cartwheel luster on both sides which really isn't captured completely in the photos. There are several light marks in the open fields and on the high points of the design, but they are not distracting and the overall look of the coin is that of a higher grade. A wonderful mint state example of the British Trade Dollar.

Republic Yuan Shih-kai Pattern Dollar Year 3 (1914) MS63 NGC, Tientsin mint, KM-Pn32, L&M-72, Kann-643, WS-0166, Wenchao-858 (rarity 3 stars). By L. Giorgi. Ranking as an elite rarity within the Republic of China dollar series, the Yuan Shih-kai pattern dollar of 1914 remains an elusive object of desire for the majority of even the most advanced collectors. Appearances on auction are relatively rare, and despite being a pattern, many surviving examples underwent circulation, with the result that locating a well-preserved specimen proves highly challenging.

CHINA. Silver Dollar Pattern, ND (1910). Tientsin Mint. PCGS MS-62 Gold Shield.
L&M-24; K-219; WS-0036; Wenchao-98 (rarity two stars). A RARE and short-lived proposed design, heavily sought after in any grade. Boldly struck and highly attractive, this Dollar presents shallow reflectivity in the fields and a pleasing light almond to russet toning throughout. Although light handling determines the grade, no instance interferes with the appearance when viewed at arm's length. As such, a wonderful representative for the collector seeking to acquire an example of this late Qing-period issue.
