They stumble onto a video.
They follow a creator.
They ask a question in the comments.
And within minutes, they’re comparing prices on Shopee.

Some call this evolution.
Some call it chaos.
But whichever side you’re on, one thing’s clear:
Malaysia has become video-first, influencer-led, and completely non-linear.

And that means the old playbook doesn’t work anymore.

If 62% of Malaysians meet new brands on TikTok…
if short-form videos trigger purchases in fashion, beauty, and even electronics…
