Hiring - Safety Officer

Location : Ara Damansara, Selangor
Basic Salary : RM 3,000 per month
Start : Immediate

A full-time crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of the shopping mall that requires your expertise in fire safety management and emergency preparedness.

Responsibility
• Develop, implement, and review fire safety and emergency response plans and preventive measurements
• Carry out routine site inspections to identify potential fire hazards and risk and develop plan to minimise the hazards and risk.
• Coordinate with relevant authorities and service contractor to ensure full compliance with fire safety laws, regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Organise and supervise fire safety training, fire drills, and emergency evacuation exercises for mall staff, tenants, contractors.
• To investigate fire-related incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective and preventive actions to minimise future risks.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of fire safety systems, inspections, maintenance, and related equipment.
• To advice and support to the mall management team on all fire prevention and safety matters.
• To plan for Budget for repair & maintenance of fire safety equipments
• Ensure all licenses are renewed

Requirement
• Knowledge of fire safety legislation, standards, codes of practice, and industry requirements.
• Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills
• Familiar with the operation and maintenance of fire protection systems and equipment.
• Able to work independently, troubleshoot and decision- making skills
