when CANON printer malfunction and a "Service Call Message" appeared:-

1) If a malfunction occurs and the machine cannot operate normally, a screen prompting you to contact your local authorized Canon dealer is displayed.
Solution -----> contact your local authorized Canon dealer.

2) When [Limited Func. Mode] is displayed:
Solution ------> If [Limited Func. Mode] is displayed, you can temporally set the Limited Functions Mode to continue to use the machine until the cause of the malfunction is cleared. (See "Setting the Limited Functions Mode from the Service Call Message Screen.")

For example, the Limited Functions Mode is displayed when:
a) The Staple mode cannot be used, but other finisher functions can be used.
b) The Print function cannot be used, but the Scan function can be used.
You can press [Limited Func. Mode] to automatically restart the machine.

3) When the Print or Scan function does not operate normally:
The selected function cannot be used.
solution ------> Press [Main Menu] to return to the Main Menu.

4) When the colour Print function does not operate normally:
Solution ------> The Copy/Print function cannot be used in colour. You can press [Close] to use the Copy/Print function in black-and-white.
