Tucked away on Jalan Tong Shin, Limapulo Terrace offers a quieter, more refined take on Peranakan cuisine — without the usual tourist crowds or inflated prices.
This is the Bukit Bintang sibling of the better-known Chow Kit original. Same heritage recipes. Slightly different menu. And a welcome sense of restraint.
What we ordered:
🍜 Nyonya Laksa – RM18
Coconut milk, aromatic herbs, and just the right amount of heat. Comfort in a bowl.
🍛 Ayam Pongteh – RM28
A gentle, savoury bean paste chicken. Slow-cooked, deeply flavourful, and quietly addictive.
☕ Kopi (hot) – RM5
Old-school Hainan-style coffee. No fuss. Just done properly.
🍧 Cendol – RM7
Pandan jelly, shaved ice, coconut milk, and gula melaka. A classic, respectfully served.
The bill? ~RM30–40 per person.
For a Michelin Selected address in Bukit Bintang, that’s not a steal — it’s a quiet statement.
