On 8 & 9 August 2026, our Ibrandium team had the distinct privilege of conducting the Kursus Pemasaran Digital and AI in Sarikei, Sarawak, in close collaboration with Kolej Komuniti Sarikei and Amanah Ikhtiar Malaysia (AIM) Sarikei Branch. A dedicated group of 21 women entrepreneurs from across Sarikei attended this intensive two-day programme with remarkable enthusiasm, eager to learn and master practical new skills to expand their local business ventures.
Led by Mr. Afiq Khatem, founder of Ibrandium, the sessions were meticulously designed to deliver real-world, hands-on training to modernise how these local business owners handle their daily marketing strategies.
On Day 1, participants dived straight into the core fundamentals of digital marketing, learning how to write effective AI prompts, master basic product photography techniques and design professional promotional posters using AI tools and Canva. On Day 2, the curriculum shifted towards video marketing, covering everything from structured scriptwriting and camera angles to practical shooting methods, concluding with a highly engaging afternoon session on building marketing videos via AI.
To recognise exceptional engagement, Mr. Afiq Khatem presented a complimentary two-month ChatGPT subscription to two highly active participants, Ms. Ety Ngo and Aaira Humaira Lai, who consistently supported their peers throughout the classes.
