GETTING TO KELANTAN, MALAYSIA
BY AIR: Fly directly from Johor Bahru's Senai International Airport (LTAS) to Kota Bharu's Sultan Ismail Petra Airport (LTSIP) with Air Asia every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. There are also direct flight services from Kuala Lumpur, Subang (Kuala Lumpur’s secondary airport), Penang, Kota Kinabalu, Kuching, and Langkawi to Kota Bharu. The airlines and destinations from/to Kota Bharu are as follows: -

BY RAIL: From Singapore, catch your express train, i.e. Express Rakyat Timuran (ERT) from Johor Bahru’s JB Central Railway Station to Tumpat, Kelantan. The ERT is a popular daily service between Johor Bahru and Tumpat. It travels along the length of Peninsular Malaysia via the East Line or more popularly known overseas as the “Jungle Railway” which is through the dense tropical rainforest of Malaysia as well as kampongs in the rural areas and offers easy access to eastern states of Kelantan and Pahang. The journey from Johor Bahru to Tumpat and vice versa would take about 17 hours! If you want to go to Kota Bharu city, please alight at Wakaf Bharu Railway Station which is located about 5 kilometres away from Kota Bharu’s city centre.
