Job Description
🔸Review resumes, assess candidates, administer appropriate assessment and reference/background checking
🔸Manage current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system; follow up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruitment process
🔸Partner with and advise hiring manager(s) and HR Manager to determine staffing needs
🔸Analyse and use recruiting data to improve employee recruitment
🔸Develop and implement diversity and community recruiting initiatives in support
🔸Develop and implement advertising and social media recruitment strategies
🔸Plan, organize, and implement outreach efforts (college recruitment, diversity recruitment etc.); represent the University at recruiting events
🔸May make hiring and salary recommendations and negotiate offers, after consultation with HR Manager
🔸May communicate important employment information during delivery of employment offers (e.g., benefits, compensation)
SKILLS:
🔸Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
🔸Demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude and able to adapt to the changes in priorities and demands
🔸Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and able to work under pressure
🔸Resourceful, independent, and highly collaborative
🔸Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
🔸Candidates must possess at least a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Psychology or Human Resource
🔸Minimum of 1 year relevant work experience in recruitment. Candidates with experience in other HR functions will be an added advantage
🔸Pleasant personality and good command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia
🔸Working knowledge of labour markets, recruiting practices and effective social media recruitment tools
