The inaugural Indigenous Exchange Festival (IXF) 2025 was officially unveiled at a press conference at alter/space, Miri.

YB Datuk Sebastian Ting, Deputy Minister of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Sarawak was present and commended IXF as a home-grown Sarawak initiative with global aspirations - a festival to spark valuable conversations and preserve indigenous culture for generations to come.

Also present were the General Manager of official hotel partner, Mercure Hotel, valued media partners, whose support will help bring IXF to a wider audience, as well as some of the cultural practitioners who will be performing during the festival.

IXF is happening from 12-14 September ober 3 days featuring 37 speakers, endless conversations, exhibition and cultural performances.
