I just realized that I've not been updating in here as often as I used to. Anyway, here's a little update about my life. I'm currently running Ancubic PickleClub , it has been both rewarding and challenging.

On one hand, I’m constantly working to meet management’s expectations - keeping operations smooth, building the brand, and ensuring the venue grows sustainably. On the other, I know that the heart of the club lies with our players. Their happiness, their sense of belonging, and the excitement they feel when they step onto the court are what truly keep this place alive.

It’s not always easy to balance those priorities. I spend time nurturing relationships with retail partners and trusted brands, because I believe strong collaborations bring value not just to the club, but to the players who benefit from quality gear and exciting promotions. At the same time, I’m always looking for creative ways to generate income - whether through corporate programmes that introduce pickleball to new audiences, or through events and tournaments that bring our community together in celebration of the sport.

For me, Ancubic PickleClub isn’t just a venue - it’s a living, breathing community. And I want everyone who walks through our doors to feel that energy and be part of something bigger than just a game.

Decide to pen this down as it's been 3 months since I started this adventure, how time flies when we enjoy what we do. The challenges are there but learning what works and what doesn't, to grow the business better is what matters most.

Was great to catch up with YB Dato Sri Tiong King Sing, Minister of Tourism Malaysia at the charity dinner. Had a good chance to give him a quick summary on what we are working on and future opportunities.

Can't really share what I spoke to him about but watch this space. Will definitely share more when things get more concrete.
