We are an independent creative agency and design firm located in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. This year’s money packet design features the Longma (Dragon Horse) – a mythical creature in Chinese culture that symbolises vitality, strength, prosperity and Yang energy. This year of the Fire Horse, let’s spread our wings and lift our spirits high!

Fun facts: The overall colours and design were inspired by Red Bull energy drink, and the cultural symbol in the background represents the solar flares of the sun!

殊不知我们一直说的龙马精神，里头的龙马是一只龙与马形态的瑞兽，被视为天地合一的吉祥物，常用来比喻健壮强劲、昂扬向上的精神状态。今年是火马年，祝大家龙马精神，展翅高飞！

有趣小知识：
这次的设计灵感来源来自红牛能量饮料，喝了马上精神。圆形标志为火纹，形状似太阳之像，是天火。

In line with FWD Malaysia / FWD Takaful’s business in the continuity and sustainability of life, the theme ‘Menyambung Tradisi’, meaning Continuing Traditions’ is visualised through the use of a single continuous line to illustrate the importance of unbroken traditional Eid customs and practices from generation to generation.

VORT3X was approached by FWD Malaysia / FWD Takaful for their 2025 Hari Raya campaign. The design features single line drawings depicting traditional customs and practices during Eid – Balik Kampung, Kacau Dodol, Silaturahim and Bunga Api. The 4 illustrations can be connected to one another to form a continuous line, symbolising the continuation of traditions – Hence the campaign theme, ‘Menyambung Tradisi’. A set of 8 festive packets and an animated greeting were designed based on FWD’s visual identity elements.

UNDO Academy is a creative institution that focuses on art and animation, and many of their graduates become game artists and developers. VORT3X was approached to design their 2025 Chinese New Year packets, featuring their Ctrl + Z mascots called ‘UNDO zais’ running through a side-scrolling video game level. The series of 3 festive packets features 3 Chinese idioms, all of which are visually supported by relevant illustrations. The 3 festive packets can be combined to form an infinitely continuous graphic, making it a highly collectible and fun set.

A looped greeting animation was also created for the purpose of sharing on social media and messenger apps.
