If I had $10K and had to start from scratch, this is exactly how I’d build a $1M service business in 12 months.

1. High-ticket only - kitchen remodel, roofing, solar ($20K–$50K deals)

2. $3K on infrastructure, $7K on marketing — zero vanity spending

3. Ads first: Meta → Google LSA → Google PPC

4. You sell. Subcontractor works. Keep the margin.

5. Respond to leads in under 2 min. Follow up 7 times.

6. 50% contractors / 30% marketing / 20% profit

7. Document everything. Systems = scale.

The best service businesses aren’t the best at the work. They’re the best at marketing, sales, and systems.
