Not every brand needs everyone.
Most startups try to grow by reaching more people, but that’s usually where things start to blur. When you speak to everyone, no one feels like you’re meant for them. Our co-founder & creative director Gary Boon shared this recently at the Dream Factory Startup Contest, where the real issue isn’t marketing, it’s clarity.
Growth doesn’t come from reach, it comes from being chosen. And people only choose brands that feel clear, relevant, and meant for them.
If you’re building a brand, don’t ask how to reach more people. Ask who you are truly for.
