You're on the WhatsApp API. So why is conversion still flat?
Because the API isn't the system. It's the pipe.
Most businesses upgrade to the official API, connect a chatbot, run a few broadcasts and expect conversion to follow. It doesn't. Because underneath, nothing changed: the chat still lives in WhatsApp, the contact still sits in a spreadsheet, the deal still sleeps in a CRM, and the follow-up still lives in someone's head.
The API gave you the channel. It didn't give you the architecture.
So the same three things stay broken:
- The handoffs still drop leads. Every jump between tools loses context.
- The journey is still untrackable. You can't see where leads go cold, what converts, or what a conversation is worth. You can't scale what you can't see.
- Your team is still the integration. Copy-pasting by hand. That snaps the moment volume arrives.
Broadcasting is not integration. And tool collection is not digital transformation. MIT-CISR research found 72% of organisations can't unify their customer data, being on the API doesn't exempt you.
The businesses actually scaling on WhatsApp treat it as the connective layer of the whole funnel: capture → qualify with AI → nurture → convert → track, wired into the CRM as one system. One channel. One view of the customer.
Before you buy another tool, find out where your journey is actually breaking.
