Rflaun The Fund is an umbrella fund with employee benefits established for the Employees of Local Authorities and Utility Services distributors in Namibia.

The Retirement Fund for Local Authorities and Utility Services in Namibia (RFLAUN) was established in March 1992. The Fund is registered in terms of both the Pension Funds Act, no. 24 of 1956 and Income Tax Act. The Fund is an umbrella fund established for the Employees of Local Authorities and Utility Services distributors in Namibia. The object of the Fund is to provide retirement and other benefits for Employees and former employees of Participating Employers in the event of death or disablement.

The Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) of the Bank of Namibia met on the 15th and 16th of June 2026 to decide on the appropriate monetary policy stance for the next two months.​

The MPC decided to increase the Repo rate to 6.75 percent to continue safeguarding the peg between the Namibia Dollar and the South African Rand. ​The decision was guided by a comprehensive assessment of the latest economic indicators.
