A large part of the restoration work at The Landing sits in the timber details; the windows, frames, and smaller structural elements that define how the building is experienced up close.
Many of these components are not simply repaired but are carefully remade using custom profiles based on the original designs. It is a process that demands patience, passion, and a deep respect for the character of the building itself.
Working back from what once existed, local artisans carefully match proportions, rebuild details, and shape each piece so it settles naturally within the structure, both visually and structurally. Every element is measured, crafted, adjusted, and refined by hand on site.
It is slow, deliberate work, driven by skill and pride in craftsmanship. Much of this effort may never immediately stand out, but it is exactly these details that will make The Landing feel authentic, timeless, and truly special.
Projects like these are only possible through the dedication of talented local craftsmen whose work deserves to be celebrated.
